Highway vignette Switzerland
The passage of motorways is charged by classic motorway sticker, but it is only sold with annual validity at a cost of CHF 40 in Switzerland . The obligation to have a motorway with a weight of up to 3.5 t marked with a vignette applies to all categories of vehicles, including for motorcycles. The vignette can be purchased at regular points of sale such as gas stations and exchange offices. If you do not want to search for a stamp in the vicinity of border crossings, it is possible to use the services of one of the foreign distributors. A one-off toll fee is charged for the passage of vehicles with a permissible weight of over 3.5 tons.

If you are planning a visit to Switzerland with a car, then when traveling through the highways you are obliged to mark a vehicle with a weight of up to 3.5 tons with a valid vignette which is only valid for one year at CHF 40.
